Universities
Transportation system is an important part of a university. In fact, part of the university orientation is the mention of the available transportation within or outside the campus to ensure that everyone is guided. Most universities address transportation issues to alleviate environmental, social, as well as economic impact of transport for the university staff and students by providing access guide with information about access by walking, cycling, public transportation, etc. In addition, a feedback should be initiated to address issues regarding transportation access both to and on campus. Meanwhile, different range of activities are introduced and developed in hopes of reducing travel and transport impact and these include car sharing schemes, joint arrangements in fleet management; parking and staff car policies; promotion of video conferencing; annual public transport tickets; facilities for cycling and walking, and cycling proficiency training.
