Transport For The Disabled
Some sensitive people prefer to use the politically-correct term of differently-able persons rather than disabled. The use of that term emphasises that persons are not really disabled in terms of physical abilities but rather in their capacity to do certain things which we normally take for granted. However, transportation facilities need to be adjusted to the persons who are differently-able to make their journey as comfortable as possible. Some equipment needs to be available upon their arrival such as free use of wheelchairs at the airports or seaports. Ramps instead of chairs should be incorporated in buildings and other establishments to accommodate wheelchair-bound persons. Easy access is necessary.
