Marine - Commercial
Marine- commercial or commercial ships refer to power-driven ships which are utilised in the commercial transportation system. These ships travel on oceans and large inland bodies of water such as the Great Lakes. Further, commercial ships have been used centuries back in doing business. Goods or commodities transported by water are classified as break-bulk, unitized, or bulk (dry or liquid) cargoes. There are authorities that are responsible for commercial use of ships, may it be local or international. Some companies utilize commercial ships in transporting their cargoes since water cargo transportation is cheaper per ton-mile than land or air transportation.
