Maps
Most travellers will be in need of something that will guide their journey. One of the essentials in travelling, especially in unfamiliar territories, is a map. Through a combination of contour lines, colours, symbols, labels, and other graphical representations, maps are able to picture locations of mountains, forests, rivers, lakes, cities, roads, bridges, and many other natural and man-made features. In addition, maps contain pool of information, including reference information for surveyors and map makers, including bench marks, base lines and meridians, and magnetic declinations. With a map in hand, the traveller will more likely to find his way through his journey. Furthermore, with the advancement in technology, electronic maps are now widely used.
