Associations
Several groups, organizations and associations have been established and founded that are specialized on the different fields and branches of mechanical transport. This is for the reason that they can represent more of the public to the government in decision-making. They have a bigger collective voice once they have established themselves and can then push for lower prices and the like.

One of them includes the Freight Transport Association (FTA), based in United Kingdom and is considered to be the leading voice on freight transport, is responsible for representing the transport interests of companies moving goods in any manner. Another would be the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where a number of around 230 airlines and 93% of scheduled international air traffic are being represented. All these and more have contributed to establishing and maintaining order in the industry and progress in the respective businesses.
