Associations & Action Groups
There are a number of association and groups that address the cause of the disabled individuals in terms of transportation. Meanwhile, different programme support a number of services, in areas that contain a disproportionately high number of people who are mobility impaired and who could sustain a sufficient demand to visit key destinations and utilise these services. Furthermore, different programmes supplement and enhance the efforts of mainstream operators in improving accessibility to their public transport services. In addition, these association and action groups aim to let the public know that disabled individuals should have equal access to public transportation and their needs should be respected accordingly.
